What is the format?

Health Protection Agency
The Health Protection Agency is a national organisation
which is dedicated to protecting people's health and
reducing the impact of infectious diseases, chemical
hazards, poisons and radiations hazards. The Agency's
Centre for Emergency Preparedness and Response at
Porton Down plays an important role in preparing for and coordinating
responses to potential healthcare emergencies, including possible
acts of deliberate release. We work to improve the UK's emergency
response capability, developing the infrastructure for surveillance and
early recognition of events. To improve preparedness we run training
courses and coordinate emergency exercises to provide testing of
plans. We also produce information and guidelines for the public and
